Milliken On the Move

The $30 activity flat rate grants you access to most of the MOTM programs.  The only programs that requires extra charge are the specialty instructional programs where we have to hire a specific instructor to teach the program.  These include: Harmonica, Bridge, Ballroom Instructional, and various one-time workshops.

No, the activity fee grants access to Milliken On the Move programs only.  Other programs such as the Aquatic programs, Town of Markham recreation programs, Fitness programs, and library programs are operated by a separate branch and require a seaparate charge.  For more information about those programs, please review the seasonal Markham Life guide.

Yes, we do have a wait-list for non-Markham residents.  Please visit us during our line dance programs on Wednesdays or Sundays to be added to the list.  The current wait time is approximately can range from 6 months to 1 year.

In becoming more consistent with other Seniors Clubs and othe Recreation programs in Markham, MOTM has to apply a non-resident fee of $10.   The reason for the charge is because Markham residents pay taxes which help support our programs and services.  Thus, to ensure fairness for our members, the $10 contribution from Non-Resident is required.  The fee is used to assist in the operation of our programs.  Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.
